Take Colorado State Highway 13 to Meeker. If coming from the south, drive through Meeker approximately 2 miles to the intersection of Highway 13 and Rio Blanco County Road 8. Turn right (east) on CR 8 towards Trappers Lake. If coming from the north, turn left on CR 8 before you reach Meeker.

Follow County Road 8 upriver until you reach mile marker 29. The first driveway to your right after the mile marker leads to a dark brown cabin. THIS IS NOT IT! Drive approximately 100 feet farther and turn right immediately after the reflector post toward the orange gate. The address is 29118 County Road 8. The GPS coordinates are N 40° 02′ 34.39″, W 107° 29′ 12.49″
